Interim Creative Process Consultant for Specsavers

On behalf of Specsavers, Free Agents is seeking an experienced Creative Process Consultant to join the Northern Europe Customer Experience team. This is a key interim role for a senior profile who can strengthen planning, resource management and execution across a complex, multi-market organisation. With a solid understanding of creative communication and experience from campaign and production environments, you will help move the team from operational execution towards more robust, scalable ways of working – identifying what needs to change and making it happen.

About Specsavers

Specsavers is a leading international optical and hearing care retailer with a clear ambition to make high-quality eye care accessible and affordable. Operating across Northern Europe (Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden) as well as the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, the business combines strong retail execution, clinical expertise and a highly collaborative marketing setup across local and regional teams.

The position

As interim Creative Process Consultant, you will work closely with the Northern Europe marketing and production team to challenge and improve how work gets planned, prioritised and executed, ultimately enabling the team to work smarter across campaigns, channels and markets.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Mapping and optimising production and campaign workflows across the Northern European markets
  • Establishing a shared framework and common language for process management — including methods to quantify, scope and prioritise projects and campaigns
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to how internal and external resources are planned and deployed, including traffic management, resource allocation and production planning
  • Ensuring brand, legal and media compliance is embedded in the process setup - not handled ad hoc
  • Contributing to the optimisation of DAM systems and asset management flows
  • Supporting the team's transition from day-to-day operational management towards a more structured, process-driven setup

The role is based in Copenhagen and reports to the Head of Customer Experience NE, with close collaboration across Marketing, Design, Social Media, Trade Marketing, Store Environment, country Heads of Marketing, Legal and external suppliers.

Your profile

We are looking for a senior profile with a strong background in marketing operations and process optimisation – ideally from an international marketing, creative or agency environment. You know how campaigns are built, how production teams operate under pressure, and where the friction points tend to appear. You are structured, solutions-oriented and motivated by making things work better in practice.

You bring:

  • Solid hands-on experience in campaign production, production planning and workflow design within marketing or creative environments
  • A practical, problem-solving mindset – you assess and recommend, but you also implement and follow through
  • Proven experience establishing shared frameworks, common processes and project management structures across teams
  • A strong understanding of traffic management, resource allocation and multi-market campaign delivery
  • The ability to quantify, scope and prioritise work – and help others do the same
  • Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to see the broader structural picture
  • A collaborative and confident communication style, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels
  • A change mindset – you are comfortable challenging existing ways of working and driving adoption of new approaches
  • Experience from an agency background would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with visual identity, concept development, photo shoots or production automation would be an advantage

  • Language requirements: Fluent English and Danish
  • Location: Copenhagen based office
